Value and Recognition
In the UK, the AIA qualification is recognized by the Company Act. The AIA members are accountants qualified with professional auditing and can work in the auditing, taxation, invest consultant and management fields.
In the EU, 25 member countries recognize AIA professional qualification as the qualification of the company auditor.
In Hong Kong, the Association is taken as a recognized organization, and has a mutual recoganition with the HKCICPA. Therefore, the AIA members have a preference to join in the HKCICPA.
In Malaysia, the AIA qualification is accepted by the Malaysia Public Service Department. After the Tax Law reform in 1967, the government admits AIA members to work as tax agent.
In Singapore, the government admits the AIA qualification; the AIA members can take a position as the assistant of the company director board.
In Cyprus, according to the company law, the AIA qualification is a stepping-stone to success in auditing department of companies.
Since 1928, AIA has established a steady and good relationship with some influential organizations and received a global recognition.

Government and organizaiton: In recent years, AIA promots its development in Asia-pacific area, meanwhile, it actively cooperates with famous accountants organizations in Hong Kong and China mainland. AIA is a member of British Chamber of Commerce in China.

AIA Shanghai Graduates Chapter: AIA came to China in 1997, currently, AIA has over 5000 students and more than 300 graduates, among which are mainly senior managers of accounting, financial and HR departments in international organizations. Through the contribution and efforts of all the students, the association is keeping growing and becomes better recognized in China. The prestigious certificate encourages and prepares our graduates to get the most out of their careers.
2007 is the tenth year that AIA came to China. Based on the ten years’ experience, our high level qualification has been recognized by more and more international and local companies.
